There is so much beauty in the world of zines! While many creators love a collage heavy look, I decided to take a different direction for my own work.
I want the writing to shine in its own light.
A Direct Style for Digital Writing and Poems
Each of my zines features a colorful cover that opens up to a clean, text-focused interior. I keep things simple with one chapter per page so you can really focus on the satire, the poems, and the stories without any distractions.
This is a deliberate choice for the digital reading experience. I always state in my listings that these zines are not intended for printing. While you technically can print them, I designed them specifically to be enjoyed as digital files on your favorite devices. This ensures the visuals and colors appear exactly as I intended for your screen.
Beyond the visuals, there is a deeper reason for this choice. I know that not everyone wants or can have extra clutter in their physical space. As someone who has dealt with a lack of living stability in the past, I know how important it is to have things that are easy to carry. You can always have something digital. You deserve to own art and archives that do not take up room or become a burden to move. By choosing a digital format, I am ensuring that these stories stay with you regardless of where you are.
Every edition is a standalone piece of my own memories and concepts, presented exactly how I want it to be seen.
